Contrary to popular belief, the life of a fashion blogger isn’t all glamour – just wait to you see my Cornwall holiday pics of mucky leggings and jumpers!
As my health has improved, my schedule has got busier. Last Sunday consisted of a 2k swim, brunch with a friend, dog walks with the husband, and batch cooking in the kitchen before a glass of wine in the garden. It called for a chic, comfy, easy outfit and this Studio 8 jumper was just perfect for all occasions.
Okay – maybe not all occasions as I spilt beetroot down my top whilst batch cooking and I’m not sure that it will now come out so I potentially have either 1) a ruined top or 2) a purple dyed top. Lessons learnt – always wear an apron when working with beetroot … and potentially gloves if your skin stains easily.
Beetroot aside, this Studio 8 Fiona top is made from a lightweight mesh fabric with a white tank under top. The mesh fabric means the top is ultra cool even in higher temperatures but the full coverage means it minimises potential burning!
I’m wearing the size 18 and it fits perfectly for that slouchy oversized feel. I particularly like that it has a tendency to drop off my shoulder – and I love flashing a freckled shoulder to the world.
For a chic brunch outfit, I paired the cream top with my favourite white jeans and little tan ankle boots. Sunglasses were needed – of course.
The top originally retailed at £49 but is currently in the sale for measly £15 making this a super bargain – especially as I’ve worn this to death since receiving it. I’m not kidding, it’s been worn to work with skinny pants – for travelling with ripped jeans – for mucking about with chino shorts – the list goes on …
Unfortunately, the top is sold out at Studio 8 but it is still available at House of Fraser.
