Scantilly never fails to delight and there latest releases are no exception, Invitation in Blueberry is high on my Christmas wishlist and the Lime Peek-a-boo (I reviewed the black version here) deliciously vibrant and like nothing else on the fuller figured market right now.

So you can see, I kind of love the range … okay, I may be head over heels in love with the range – I don’t tend to do things by halves.  So when the beautiful ladies at Curvy Kate offered to send me favourite piece from the new collection, I was delighted to choose the Tuxedo!

Scantilly Tuxedo Review

What really struck me about Tuxedo is it utter uniqueness  – never have I seen something like this available on the plus size or fuller bust market.

It’s a satin one piece made from scanty briefs and a body harness that ties around the waist before turning into a tuxedo collar that clips around the neck.  It is, quite simply, stunning.

I’m wearing the XL and it fits perfectly – there is a bit of room left in the pants and enough ribbon around the waist to tie into a pretty bow.   The neck collar is adjustable and I had it on a middle setting so there is definitely room for adjustment there.

Scantilly Tuxedo Review

I wearing the bra with my much loved All-Wrapped-Up (you can see that talked about in a previous post here), also from Scantilly and it looks great – although I also think it would look amazing with Peek-A-Boo which I also own.   If you want to be really daring, I would suggest wearing without a bra!

One thing I am debating it how I can wear this out – now the obvious would be to wear it peeking through a low cut dress but I love the idea of the whole harness being on show.   Perhaps peeking about jeans with a simply blouse worn underneath.   It would pose problems of going to the bathroom but so does a jumpsuit.
