I saw the Panache Oriane* set a few months ago and instantly fell in love with is. The contrast of teal and gold lace just screamed golden age holiday and I knew it would perfect for the festive season (and you’ll already have seen this featured in my Christmas Lingerie Look Book).
The Panache Oriane is a full cup bra made from a three part construction that gives a subtle but full and rounded shape to the breast.
The bra modelled on their best selling Clara bra (one that I have not yet tried but sincerely hope to soon) and I can really see why it’s such a popular shape.
I’m wearing the Oriane in a 34H which is my usual size in the Panache range. I always find their bands a little more generous, and their cups a little more shallow, than the Sculptresse sister band and so always drop a back and go up a cup size in this range.
The fit is fairly perfect on me, with the central gore sitting flush against my sternum and the stretch lace encompassing all of my breast tissue. The bra is also incredibly supportive and my boobs scarcely move whilst giggling about!
The back back is wide and very supportive – it comes fairly high under my armpit which is great for encompassing and smoothing my fatty back wings. The straps are fairly wide without being ungainly – I really like the embroidered front of them and actually wouldn’t have minded the gold detailing to carry further across the straps.
The briefs are fairly high waisted and have the same gold detailing that is on the bra. I’m wearing an 18 in the briefs and they fit me fairly perfectly.
The bra is priced at £34 and the briefs at £15 which is fairly standard for a Panache set. I always find they last the distance and continue to offer great supportive no matter how often they get thrown unceremoniously in the washing machine (I know I shouldn’t do that but domestic chores just aren’t in my nature and I’ll do anything to minimise the effort things like washing take).
I really hope the Oriane becomes a repeated number in the Panache line, I really think a deep red would look amazing come next year!
