2016 – My Year in Review

As the year, a terrifying and devastating year across the globe, comes to an end, I feel it is important to look back at the the moment that have been special to us; the moments that have made us smile and bought love, happiness and enjoyment into the world.

Moments of reflection, even if small and trivial, remind us of what we are fighting & striving for; it reminds us why we are living and gives us the courage to, in the face of a maddening world, go on.

I didn’t do anything grand of profound in 2016, most of the year has been about self recovery after an awful end to 2015.  It was a year of growth, of testing, learning and expanding my capabilities with a new job, new friends made, new challenges met, and ultimately of learning that I am strong.

Hear are a few of my highlights that really make me smile …

Travelling … Budapest, San Fransisco, Cornwall, Devon & others …

Falling in love with the camera …

Spending time with family …

And with friends …

Swam the channel … and raised £800 for Aspire Spinal Charity …

sponsor-me

Wore some pretty banging outfits …

And had some amazing day’s out …

What has made you happy this year?

C xx

  2. Great to look at the positives of the year and reflect on them. A very forward thinking way to approach 2017! My favourite part of this year was my wedding in Italy- pretty special and a stunning setting. Look forward to making new memories next year. x
