When it come’s to fuller bust lingerie, Elomi is definitely one of my favourite brands! They are my go-to for functional, flirty, and comfy lingerie.
If you read Wednesday’s post then you’ll know that this Valentines I’m really feeling the softer, more romantic side to lingerie. I’m embracing florals; probably as I’m praying that spring is just around the corner and that sunshine and daffodils will soon rule supreme.
The Elomi Maya fits just that brief …
The Maya is non-padded soft cup bra with a slight plunge shape. The cup is made from a three part construction with the top section being made from a complimentary stretch lace that is also found on the briefs.
Elomi is one of the few, if not the only, brand where I am entirely consistent in sizing. I’m wearing a 36GG and it fits like a dream. The central gore sits flush, the back band low, and there is considerably less underarm fat than in many other bras I try – I think this is because the bra has a dies support panel that really helps to push misplaced bra tissue back into the cup.
The Maya set, with pink trim, comes in a beautiful wild floral print with white binding and straps.
The briefs are a XL and fit me fairly perfectly at a size 18. They are full but not particularly high waisted which really shows off my over-hanging belly. I really don’t mind this as I’ve learnt to love my VBO (visible belly outline) but do size up if you want a higher waist to encase the tummy.
As with most Elomi sets, these are not a bargain bra option but you really do get what you pay for – the bra is comfy; I wore it all day yesterday and had no discomfort whatsoever which is rare for a first wearing of any lingerie set. It is also likely to last the distance, every Elomi bra I own has lasted several years or more and still fit and feel great. They are worth the investment.
Now tell me, what Valentines/Galentines plans do you all have?
