Wingz – The Smart Way To Cover Your Arms*

Wingz - The smart way to cover your arms

Wingz has been around for a while now and have proved a fatshion bloggers favourite. If you haven’t heard of them before then Wingz are a nifty little clothing gadget that allows you to add sleeves to any outfit.  The best way I can describe them is a topless crop top, basically – sleeves that stay in place with a discrete band that wraps beneath your bra.

I was sceptical at first – how discrete are they?  How well will they blend with my dress?  Will they be comfy?

Thankfully, they are all of those things; discrete, comfy, and this pair looks amazing with my LBD.

Wingz are a great, sleek, and sophisticated alternative to those usual cover ups of a cardigan or a shrug.   I’m not normally shy of showing my body (surprise, surprise) but sometimes I really want to cover up a little, whether it be for added warmth (far too many times have I been sat wrapped in a chunky shawl in a restaurant thanks to a draft draw or over-zealous air con) or simply because the occasion calls for covering up (religious festivals, stodgy family affairs – you get the gist) they really are great.

I’ve paired the Wingz with a very simple LBD from ASOS Curve – the dress is not modest in the least; hourglass, plunging neckline, thigh high slit – it is one of the sexiest I own.  Adding the Stretch Lace 3/4 Length Wingz keeps the sex appeal whilst stopping me shivering – I actually love this look, now I just need some kind of romantic date night with the girls for an excuse to wear it out.

Wingz offer many over great style from simple contain sleeves to floaty chiffon extravagance.  There really is something for everyone!

For those interested, the dress is an 18 and comes up small on the chest so definitely size up if, like me, your larger on top.

Now, enjoy the pictures …

This is such a great idea – I love how it gives the dress a totally different vibe, and basically doubles up the usage of sleeveless dresses. I’m going to have to go and give them a proper check out on their website because I am super impressed! And as ever you look absolutely lovely! xx

Thinking of getting some to add sleeves to vest tops for work so they’re a bit more work appropriate.
