ASOS Fuller Bust Lingerie Review: Up to a H Cup

ASOS Fuller Bust Lingerie Review: Up to a H Cup

ASOS have really been upping their lingerie range lately – I think they’re cottoned onto the fact the lingerie business is huge right now.   Bloggers and influencers of all ills are stripping off to reveal their under things and lingerie as outerwear is once again in Vogue.

Last week I reviewed the ASOS Curve Lingerie line (you can read the post here) and fell delightfully in love with their amazing bodies.   Shortly after writing that post, I realised that ASOS had also expanded their fuller bust line of lingerie to a HH cup (previously it maxed out a G – cutting us H cups off).   Now sadly, not all of the range has extended to a HH cup but there are several pieces available in 30DD – 38HH.

What really struck me by the range is that ASOS have not played it safe.   They did not with their Curve range (opting for high legs and plunging necklines) and they seems to be following the same ethos with their new fuller bust pieces.   As you can see from the pictures, ASOS are combining classic shapes with edgy strapping details that gives a nod to S&M wear and are playing with lace next to mesh and sheer panels.

I’m really glad that they’re not sticking to plain t-shirt bras and are, instead, giving us  fuller busted girls a few more options for the boudoir.    Most of the range is just gagging to be revealed and, like this Florence set, is designed just for that.

The Florence is a moulded bra with the cups overplayed with lace.   The band is made from wide cage-like strapping with a 4 hook and eye closure to the back.   I was sceptical about the support this would offer, assuming that the cage effect would not offer any level of support.

I was wrong – the bra is quite supportive and the backhand surprisingly comfy – although the shoulders straps do twist slightly but I imagine this can be fixed by tightening them.

The matching briefs are high waisted with lace, mesh, and cut out panels.   They are very comfortable and I love the cut out effect.  I’m wearing an 18 and they fit perfectly.

For the bra, I’m wearing a 36H and it’s a perfect fit.  The central gore is flush against my skin and the back band sits low on my back.  All breast tissue is comfortably encased within the cup and there is no side-boob slippage.  I would say the set is very true to size.

The bra doesn’t give the greatest cleavage boost, but with a back like this who is going to be looking at the front?

It is priced at just £20 so is a very affordable lingerie option.    It gives a similar appearance to the likes of Scantilly without the price tag.  That said, the set is not of the quality of Scantilly (which to me is worth the money) – the materials are less luxurious and the bra will never be as supportive or well structured.   But for £30, for the entire set what do you really expect?

I love this on you! I recently bought one of the new ASOS fuller bust bras and found it had crap support, so I returned it. It was a soft cup though, so I would be interested in trying a more molded cup like this to see the difference. Did you find that the diagonal straps on the front of the bra were a little oversized? I bought a similar style with cage strap details on the front and they were so loose they dangled over my boobs instead of tight across my collarbone. You look stunning as always:)X

I never knew ASOS did catered to fuller cup sizes. I never really gave their lingerie a second thought to be honest, but you look fantastic. I shall certainly be having a peruse on their website after payday 💜

I’ve bought about six asos brand bras & I just could not love them. I returned all but two & I have to do some adjustments to the ones I decided to keep. They were all soft cups. I’m gonna try the padded cup bras though. I guess they have better support than the soft cups do. Honestly, I’ve had much better bras that were better made. These are not sturdy bras & are certainly not meant to last. They’re gorgeous bras but they’re just so poorly constructed. I’m very disappointed with asos bras, but I don’t wanna completely give up on them.
